What if he did not do it?

Psalm 119:160 (NASB) The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.
Proverbs 23:4 (NIV) Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint.

What if he did not do it? What if Jesus decided it was not worth it, like so many of us in situation because the odds are not to our liking, and said, no way? If the decision was made, that the abuse, the beating, and the humiliation was not worth it, when the past set precedent, the present set the stage, and the future is heading us in the same directions of disobedience and lack of faith? Much like we do when things do not align quite right, or all the numbers and evidence show it is not worth it, and the situation will not change no matter what. So, instead of the mercy tempered justice, we just got the justice. What would happen if our Lord was selective in his forgiveness granting as we are because of the hurt and pain received resulting from our behavior? What if the memory of Lucifer’s betrayal lingered in our Father's heart, soul and mind, this memory resonate so much so, the response was never again? But instead, grace abide more abundantly, loving kindness rise the rafter, and the depths of the living water rose to the top, and we receive the perfect sacrificial offering. He became Isaiah 6:8 (NASB) Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!" before he was, he was, is, and always. Therefore the question is really not, what if he did not do it? But rather why don’t we listen and obey in faith?

What happens when the heart sees?

Luke 23:39-43 (NASB) - One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, "Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!" But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?”And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."
What happens when the heart sees? The heart finds itself staring at truth and truth staring back at you. Do you deny it? Do you reason in your head trying to confidence yourself, what is being reflected is lie? Do pose a challenge to confidence you of what you already know but will not believe? When we see truth, as the convicts, criminals on the cross with Jesus the Christ did, we see our options play out before our eyes. Where one dares, calls out Christ to prove Himself with this statement - Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us. All because he did not want to see the possibility outside of his reality of expectations, thus reality before him must be wrong because what he wanted did not happen for the lack evidence. He did not understand the lack of evidence of a thing does not disprove its existence. Whereas, we see the other, who when faced with truth did not let his expectations deny him his awareness of the reality before him, nor the lack of evidence deny the truth his heart saw and felt. For he saw the purity present, the innocent glory, and the singular righteous and it pierced his soul and form these words on his tongue… And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom…which granted him a sit in paradise…See, his heart told him what his eyes could not see, and his mind could not logically concede but he consented on faith. This is a candid example for all Christians to see and know, sometimes we do not need to put out the effort to prove a truth, because of the denial of truth. When it does not meet or agree with our expectation, does not change its truth. For those who seek, truly find and those who deny are blinded to it. What happens when the heart sees, we find a sit in paradise.
