Balance

Psalm 12:6 - The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times (NASB).

Seasons are time periods where things occur for a reason, not randomly place to make our lives hard. It is a time for God to show the diversity of his power, the display his majestic guidance, and his awesome divine logic. See this allows for us to be grateful, to reflect, and make an assessment of our true plight in life. Seasons refine our hearts, correct our spirits, tame our tongue, and straighten our walk. Without the seasons in our life we would have no balance, we would live in extremes, one way or another, which results in doubt. Proverbs 30:8-9 – ‘Keep deception and lies far from me, give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is my portion, that I not be full and deny you and say, "Who is the LORD?"Or that I not be in want and steal, and profane the name of my God (NASB)’. When there is balance in your life, you can appreciate both, want and fullness, in all forms. Yet, this appreciation and comprehension does not just appear through reading, knowing, it requires applying, implementing, and using what we know to be true to the world we live in. As courage is only seen in crisis, balance can only be obtain through seasons that forces, challenges us to believe, to trust, to hold on, to seek, to be quiet, and to apply.

No one ever learn how to ride a bike, play a game, complete problem without applying the instructions because once we put the words in to action. We are then able to see the implications, or the natural consequences of the involvement. Without the seasons, we would never know because we live in extreme. Do not think so? We see it in the rich and famous, it does not matter if they were born in it or not, living in the environment creates a mindset where the view is limit. On the other hand find a person, who never left a certain type of environment and try to put them somewhere else. In most cases, there is a disconnect, doubt, shock of the truth being told and shown, because the life is lived in extreme. So, this is the reason God give us seasons, not lifetimes of trials, plenty, want, and abundance; in various forms and areas of our life to teach us, to reach us, to touch us, to show us, and to bless us. However, our faith is the determining factor if we get it. Many will be consumed with doubt, and wallow in negativity forever. While others will go half-way, and wonder why they have not go all the affects, and the last will walk forward in spite of fear, doubt, reservations, and gain riches beyond monetary or fiscal but of spirit. Then life changes, because the view has changed and balance is gained…

The system

Rom. 8:28-30 ‘And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified (NASB).’

The system in these verses above is created to provide a certain outcome, intentionally; God does not make any random acts such as kindness or humility, it is purposeful not accidental. We serve a God who more strategic than we could ever image, and the plan ever so perfect, if followed as it is laid out, we would see the impossible become possible, the unavailable become available, the lost become the found, and love abound. However, we, man, create, develop, build, or become a part of system that results in an outcome not desire because we fight, we let our emotional logic, which is flaw at best, state direct us, the personal preference construct and frame our actions, while our desire of immediacy and gratification shapes and molds us. Only later, too late, to realize we developed a blueprint for the negative, destructive outcome we now receive and live buy into daily. As we live a narrative of crippled truths because we base our trust in man, not God. We do not embrace a ground zero that says, spirit and truth grounds me as it transforms and confirms me, rather we attached ourselves to conformity which confines, and defines itself into stagnation, status quo, and worldly. The system of Christ does not condone in any way, and as Christian, neither should we…2 Cor. 5:17 ‘Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come (NASB).’

See, 2 Cor. 5:17 specifically, instructs, informs, directs us to a system that actually creates the desired outcome because the intent, the spirit is pure, and not convoluted with excess baggage of fear, status quo, or worldly. It creates and speaks a language of success through support and restoration, renewal through replication of God’s truth through the model, pattern found in the Son, Christ. Therefore, it should not be a surprise to anyone that the desire outcome is not achieve, when the system used, followed is flawed, and the one we, Christian should follow in the first place. A system, once understood can be applied universally with outcome we all shall find ‘more than enough’ and more abundantly for our good.
