What i have learn

Nahum 1:3 (NASB) -The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished in whirlwind and storm is His way, and clouds are the dust beneath His feet.
August 17 is my birth day. Although there were many cards, gifts, and well-wishers, what touched me the most is what all it symbolize – unconditional love wrought by grace. One of the cards touched me the most because it came with a card that had an inspiration message on it, and a dear friend. It took me back to a time in my life when I collected them but also a time when life was simpler, and love was given more freely. There were less mistakes, problems, and concern. What I did not appreciate then, I do now – love is a splendid thing!, and what the mistakes I made helps me to appreciate my today so much better.
My birthday was full of revelations. I realize as much as we desire, crave, and seek stuff, tangible in life, what we really are in search of is love unfettered and genuine. The acts of man are touches of God quietly reminded us while reaching for the tangibles; we missed the most precious and sacred of all the -intangibles. I am not disqualifying the materials things in the world, only recognizing they are manifestation of something better and should never be our focus.
Things I learned:
1. Communication is best when we are honest and open with our self so that we can be with others.
2. The very thing we deny or ignore is the very thing that becomes the driving force in life.
3. As leaders, informal and formal, we must learn to lead from the back as well as from the front in order to be success, and have longevity.
4. Iron sharpening iron creates sparks, not a horrible disposition we put on during and after the experience.
5. All struggles represent competitions; all competitions are really about self-discovery and to become aware of our weakness. So we can work on them, not about winning/losing. Ever some win but lose.
6. When we seek change, God puts a reflective mirror to us, showing us we too need to change for the change to be complete.
7. We should always act and lead from position of forgiveness in mind.
8. When we let the Lord lead us, we find healing waters to cool us and peace to keep us in times of distress.
9. God uses things, people, events, and occasion to get our attention, and it is not always good to us, but good for us, if we submit to HIM.
10. Getting everything the way we want, is not always what we need, and that is why God does not give it to us.
11. When we laugh too soon, we cry in the end.
12. Overcoming our mental and spiritual challenges becomes a whole lot easier when we own our fears, insecurities, and faults.
13. God is never under any obligations to tell us what he is up to, or doing in our life. We are to just submit, commit, and be obedient so we shall not lack perspective of any issue.
14. God allows us to be proactive, preventive, if we would listen to voice of wisdom, regardless of its origin.
15. When you motives are not pure, and your focus is on self, regardless of how right the act maybe, chaos always ensues and hurt other people.
16. We are all provided with the same information, just different skills set and to be jealous or envious of another is to deny God’s grace in your life.
17. When our expectations and reality does not match, we must realizes, our lens need to change to see better.
